【Question】
When the QTE command is executed, the following message is output and an error ends.
QTE-COMMAND-E105005 : License error has occurred.
How do you handle this error?
【Answer】
Please refer to steps 1-3 based on the specific error message you received.
1. If "(0x0000003b), no error message exists" is displayed following the error message above:
The License Client may not be installed.
If you have not installed the License Client, please do so.
Please refer here for instructions on how to install the License Client.
2. If "(0x74000003), License file error : [1,7e3,b,0[74000003,0,10050153]] Empty file." is displayed following the above error message:
The License_url setting in the configuration file (/etc/qte/qte.conf) may be incorrect.
The License_url setting in the configuration file (/etc/qte/qte.conf) may be incorrect. Please correct the setting based on your license environment.
When using a License Server: Update to the correct URL.

Note: Replace <IP_ADDRESS> and <PORT_NUMBER> with the values for your environment.
When using a License File: Update to the correct file path.

License_url=<DIRECTORY_PATH>/<LICENSE_FILE_NAME>

Note: <DIRECTORY_PATH> is the path to the directory where the license file is stored.
<LICENSE_FILE_NAME> is the filename including the ".lasr" extension.
Important:
You must restart the license service after making any corrections.

"6.4.1 Starting, stopping, and checking the status of the license service"
"16.10.1 Starting, stopping, and checking the status of the license service"
3. If an error message other than those described in 1 or 2 is displayed:
There may be a communication issue with the machine where the license server is running.
Please verify that the machine where QTE is installed can communicate with the license server.
If a connection cannot be established, please ensure the environment is configured to allow communication, then run QTE again.
