F01_01: Are WinAMS and CasePlayer2 ISO 26262 certified?

Question:

I use WinAMS and CasePlayer2. Are these GAIO tools ISO 26262 certified?

Answer:

GAIO test tools "CoverageMaster winAMS" and "CasePlayer2" obtained tool certification from TÜV SÜD, a third-party certification body in Germany, in order to develop software that complies with the Automotive Functional Safety Standard (ISO 26262). Information on our ISO 26262 tool certification is summarized below.

With this tool certification, GAIO's unit test tool "CoverageMaster winAMS/General" and program analysis tool "CasePlayer2" were confirmed to be tools that support all safety levels in the unit test and static analysis phases.

In automotive software development conforming to ISO 26262, it is required to set the TCL (Tool Confidence Level) of the tool used. Since GAIO TOOL supports all TCLs, using GAIO's tools allows customers to omit this work related to tool certification.
