Safety / Security Tools and Services
GAIO is always expanding its portfolio of tools and engineering services to address safety and security initiatives, starting with Coverage Master. In 2015, we released Safilia, a Safety Concept Design tool for ISO26262 compliance, and in 2016 Seculia, a Security Analysis tool. It also supports implementation support in response to safety and security processes and introduction of methodologies.
Support the Introduction of Safety & Security Processes and Toolchains
The Safety Concept Design Tool Safilia helps to iteratively review and improve the developed product, implement a tool chain and maintain traceability. By linking with Safilia, the Security Threat Analysis tool Seculia takes on the challenge of merging the security-related counter-measures to the safety development processes. The IS & S business supports customers introducing the SCDL (a standardized Safety Concept notation), the Security Threat Analysis approach, and related tools.
Safety & Security tools
|Seculia||Seculia is a Security Analysis tool that uses a widely used Attack-tree based threat analysis method. It can be applied to secure development processes like ISO26262's Part 3 safety concepts, Part 4 (System Level Development), Part 5 (Hardware Development), and Part 6 (Software Development) or equivalent.|
|Safilia||"Safilia" is a modeling tool for design safety concepts and facilitate information sharing between designers and developers. The Safety Concept Description Language (SCDL) is based on specifications and standards developed by the Safety Concept Notation Study Group SCN-SG. Safety concepts are described in block diagrams to improve mutual understanding and easy information sharing.|
